Frequently asked questions
How do I open the grown-ups settings?
On the home screen, press and hold the gear button in the top corner for about a second and a half. The hold keeps little fingers out of the settings.
How do I turn the read-aloud narration on or off?
Use the "Read to me" switch on a story's cover page, or the Read aloud setting in the grown-ups settings. Narration is off until you turn it on.
How can I get a nicer reading voice?
Twisty Tales uses the voices built into iOS. For the most natural sound, download an Enhanced or Premium voice for your language in Settings › Accessibility › Spoken Content › Voices.
How do we find all the endings?
Each story has 12 endings. When you reach one, tap "Try another way" to go back to the last choice, or "Start again" from the beginning. The story's cover page shows which endings you've found so far.
Can we start the endings collection again?
Yes. In the grown-ups settings, choose "Reset discovered endings".
Which languages are included?
English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Spanish (Latin America), Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Polish, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Thai, Indonesian and Vietnamese. The app follows your device's language.
Does Twisty Tales need an internet connection?
No. Everything is on the device, so it works anywhere, including on planes and in the car.
Are there ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases?
No. Twisty Tales is a one-time purchase. Future updates with more stories are free.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
