RADARspeed Support
Frequently asked questions
How do I get the most accurate result?
Record in slow motion at 240 fps with the phone on a tripod, keep the whole path in frame, and calibrate with a distance you have measured carefully. A 1% distance error gives a 1% speed error.
Which measurement method should I use?
Speed Trap (two gates a known distance apart) is the most accurate and works from any angle. Side View suits footage filmed side-on to the path. Top-Down maps a rectangle on the ground to a bird's-eye view when you film at an angle.
Can I use videos I already have?
Yes. Import from Photos or Files. Original slow-motion clips from the iPhone camera keep real-time timestamps. If a clip was exported already slowed down, set the slow-motion correction in Video Details.
What does the ± value mean?
It is the uncertainty from ±1 frame of timing and the scatter of tracked points. Higher frame rates and longer measured distances make it smaller.
Does RADARspeed need an internet connection?
No. Everything happens on your device, so it works anywhere.
Is there a subscription?
No. RADARspeed is a one-time purchase with no ads, subscriptions or in-app purchases.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
